Job Summary:

The Global Music Marketing team focuses on leveraging company extensive pool of listener data and deep music and consumer insights to benefit advertising partners, brands and artists to deliver even more value on air, online, mobile, social and through live events. The Director of Global Music Marketing role will manage departmental operations necessary to consult with brands/artists and provide them with a steady stream of rich listening trend reports and custom insights that will better inform their decision-making on everything from advertising content and social programs to events and artists partnerships, increasing the efficacy of advertising campaigns and fan engagement.
Key Responsibilities

  • Distribute weekly internal newsletter, compiled of important industry trends
  • Manage department 's internal dashboard, inclusive of current custom opportunities, and radio/streaming data
  • Act as liaison between internal departments and external clients for custom opportunities
  • Work with business affairs and account management to execute contracts and payment for custom events
  • Stay up-to-date on industry news and be able to translate into opportunities to grow business
  • Collaborate with Chief Product Officer, Programming, Creative Services, and Digital teams to execute all digital and on-air contests
  • Fulfill and oversee industry ticketing requests
  • Partner with Podcasting team to secure guests for a multitude of shows
  • Work with Digital, Editorial, and App teams to promote specific Podcast episodes
  • Light administrative duties, including managing calendar and expenses of EVP


  • 5+ years' experience building and executing multi-platform marketing campaigns including broadcast, digital, social and live/virtual events
  • Ability to multitask and efficiently manage time and priorities
  • Knowledgeable on industry radio and streaming data tools such as Mediabase and Alpha Data+
  • Ability to demonstrate basic data and song analysis skills
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about social Media Channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube
  • Desire to stay on top of trends and emerging platforms
  • Love of Audio Storytelling
  • Organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and creative ideas on tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite; ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Assumes responsibility & accountability for assignments and tasks
  • Actively listens; clearly and effectively conveys information
  • Demonstrates effective business writing skills; shows excellent grasp of grammar
  • 5+ years of experience with talent relations or music industry experience
