An exceptional opportunity for a highly strategic and thoughtful product marketing professional to help shape strategies that will create a breakthrough value proposition for Company - a new, well-capitalized e-commerce-focused, FinTech brand - ultimately driving inbound leads and adoption of our product suite. The Head of Product and Partner Marketing sits at the intersection of the product, sales and marketing teams and will lead the company’s go-to-market (GTM) efforts for any new product, feature or enhancement. You will be the company’s “go-to” for customer, competitive and marketplace insights and be able to effectively translate them into effective product marketing strategies across channels. In addition to having a passion for global e-commerce, financial technology, and innovation, you are a hands-on marketer who is highly motivated by the opportunity to build out a best-in-class approach to product marketing.

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for the planning, strategy, execution, and measurement of all product marketing initiatives to propel Company to become the leader in global e-commerce FinTech. This role reports to the CMO.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Conduct ongoing research into addressable markets to understand customer needs, competitive offerings and marketplace trends, with regular share-outs of findings and appropriate action plans
  • Provide leadership and insights into the product roadmap, working closely with Product, Tech and Sales to recommend the best approach for bringing products to market
  • Develop all positioning and messaging for products based on this research and own implementation of appropriate messaging across channels, include email, website, social media
  • Plan, write and produce compelling marketing assets (i.e. factsheets, product overviews, tools, etc.) in partnership with the Design team, for both the Direct and Partner channels
  • Lead our content development workstream in tandem with product marketing, including playing a key role in shaping our SEO strategy through compelling product and content marketing on our website and other channels 
  • Help the Direct and Partner Sales channels and marketing channels by regularly identifying ongoing opportunities to differentiate the Company offering against our competition and tactics that address these opportunities
  • Act as a senior member of the marketing team, contributing valuable input into the overall marketing strategy for the company, including best practices on how to scale and optimize our marketing channels to support our product marketing strategy

Prerequisites of The Position

  • Expertise in product marketing with broad experience in managing product marketing campaigns
  • Experience working closely with product and tech organizations to deliver compelling product value propositions
  • Experience working with sales teams to understand customer needs and translate those into specific marketing tactics
  • Analytical thinking skills and a track record of using data to inform product marketing strategies
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in product marketing
  • In-depth understanding and interest in the e-commerce & fintech sectors
  • A “big picture” thinker who is also scrappy and resourceful to get the job done
  • Experience and desire to work in a fast-paced, build-from-the-ground-up environment
