Job Description:

The Human Resource Generalist provides HR expertise and counsel to management and employees on a full range of HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, compensation, staffing, learning and development, and HR policies and practices. Acts as a the backup to HR Business Partners.

-Coordinate corporate, business specific, global and regional HR initiatives and processes in partnership HR Business Partners and business clients.
-Provide guidance and support to business clients/managers in implementing HR policies and procedures. Works with managers to establish a supportive work environment that benefits colleagues and the organization. Recommend new approaches to policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
-Assist with employee relations issues by providing counsel and advice to management and employees to achieve positive resolutions. Work in conjunction with HRBP and ER team to determines corrective action to be taken on performance related, or breach of policy related issues up to and including termination.
-Oversee day-to-day HR administration new hires, transfers, terminations, data changes, etc. by leveraging and partnering with the Data Team. Establish and maintain Workday data to ensure accuracy, and provide HR reporting metrics for client groups.

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of human resources experience

Knowledge and skills:
-Ability to build relationships with and influence all levels within an organization.
-Proven oral and written communication abilities: demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues
-Strong PC skills including MS Office and Workday HRIS.
-Comfortable working within a fast-paced, complex, dynamic environment with multiple organizational cultures; comfortable with multi-tasking requirements.
-Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration.
-Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues.
-Must be able to make recommendations and influence others to effectively resolve issues by using judgment that is consistent with policies, practices, standards, procedures, regulations and/or law.
