IT Vendor Manager – Business Analyst
New York, NY - Will work remotely until COVID Restrictions are lifted
12+ month contract
- Formulate solutions to/for ITVM related business process gaps and challenges. Gathering contract documentation, compliance information and into a central knowledge base and summarizing contract obligations for review with stakeholders. Identify and draft appropriate Service Level Agreement contract requirements for inclusion in RFPs.
- Develop/Execute Vendor Management Plans in accordance with existing guidelines Under general supervision:
- Implement and maintain processes and support plans relative to IT Vendor Management Policies, systems or vendors Liaise and coordinate ITVM tasks with internal stakeholders, external vendors and Procurement.
- Manage compliance to the Bank's processes and policies.
Required Skills: Minimum five years' experience in an IT Vendor Management function for a large organization or a Strategic IT Sourcing organization, preferably in a financial institution. Understanding of IT Vendor Management principles Familiarity with contracts, ability to understand, summarize and interpret contracts, including software contracts. Experience or some exposure to IT operations, performance management, metric development and monitoring Project Management experience highly desired or Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills Strong client relationship building and customer service Strong attention to detail Ability to collect and analyze data (i.e.; Excel Pivot Tables or business intelligence tools Tableau). Preferred Skills: Strong contract comprehension Strong analytical abilities using tools such as Excel or Tableau Previous experience with vendor performance metrics. Broad exposure to IT contracts and process.
