Network, Security incident monitoring, and response. He/she will establish the cross-functional processes necessary to actively monitor and respond to security events. A network professional that demonstrates the skills required to develop a security infrastructure, recognize threats and vulnerabilities to networks, and mitigate security threats. Monitoring incident response alerts, responding to those that impact the infrastructure and business operations. Provide regular "state of the security threat posture" reviews with respective business and technology leaders through dashboard level reporting. Documenting and managing work through a ticketing system and a change control process. Performs basic vulnerability scans using vendor utility tools. Monitors security audit and intrusion detection system logs for system and network anomalies. Investigates and/or escalates security violations, attempts to gain unauthorized access, virus infections that may affect the network, or other events affecting security and infrastructure vulnerabilities.

Education and Training:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Recognized professional security certification such as:
- Certified Cyber Security Systems Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Cisco Security Associate (CCNA)
- CompTIA Security+
