A busy healthcare services organization in Hoboken, NJ is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their group on a contract to full-time basis. The Senior Accountant will become immediately involved in supporting monthly close functions, posting journal entries, handling accruals/deferrals/prepaids, balance sheet account reconciliations, variance analysis, expense analysis, and monthly reporting. The ideal Senior Accountant will have a minimum of three years' experience at the Senior Accountant level within the healthcare sector, and will be familiar with working in a high-demand, high-volume environment with manual processes. Prior experience using SAGE software is highly desirable, as is having strong Excel skills.
