Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Research and Innovation Officer, this person will be responsible for helping formalize the recently created Content Management function of the organization. Partnering with the CRIO and our Director of Research, the VP of Content Program Management will be responsible for helping define and execute our Content vision and strategy, undertaking the following responsibilities in close coordination:

  • Provide operational and project management of the many content projects planned and underway, ensuring their efficient, effective and timely execution.
  • Work with the commercial, contributor relations, and product teams to build frameworks for meaningful guidance and feedback from clients and contributors on our content initiatives
  • As part of the Content organization and the Innovation Lab creating the content development roadmap
  • Manage the content development roadmap  and its alignment with the product roadmap 
  • Be responsible for the execution of our content development projects and content management functions
  • Oversee a combination of direct and seconded team members in their running of individual content projects and functions
  • Manage the direct employees engaged in these projects
  • Partner with the data and engineering teams to ensure that projects and functions are appropriately resourced and executed
  • Define OKRs, track progress, and measure the impact of our content projects and functions on business goals
  • Organize and develop our content MIS resources and ensure robust internal and external reporting
  • While the CRIO and DoR are domain experts on VA content and services and will provide much of the subject matter oversight and guidance for these projects and functions, the VP of Content Management is expected, over time, to develop sufficient expertise to contribute meaningfully to these issues as well. 

Required Skills:

  • Relevant educational attainment
  • 15+ years experience in content or product management
  • Extensive understanding of company financial data
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in program and project managing large data projects
  • Track record in leading impactful teams working in a global, cross-functional environment
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels within and outside the organization
  • Sufficiently deep level of technical expertise to meaningfully contribute to coordination and oversight of data science and engineering activities
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset
  • A strong sense of urgency and accountability
