Company is looking for an experienced public sector sales leader to drive our continued expansion and investment in US public sector sales (including US federal, state, and local).  Company provides critical data, software and services in support of our customers, with particular relevance to government missions.  In this role, you'll lead a skilled sales team that helps our clients tackle their most important security and intelligence challenges.

What you will do:

  • Develop strong understanding of Company’s US government business and vision to support government use cases
  • Plan, implement and execute on sales strategy, leveraging market knowledge and experience to convey product value
  • Motivate, develop, and grow a team of sellers and cultivate a performance-based culture built on providing value to public sector organizations
  • Develop and maintain high level relationships with key prospective customers and organizational leaders
  • Drive expanded relationships with critical government partners, including large Federal systems integrators
  • Be the voice of the government prospect and customer throughout the company, and collaborate with Marketing, Product, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success to ensure that Company is delivering maximum value to government customers
  • Coach sellers through complex sales and taking a consultative approach to selling
  • Maintain constant awareness of markets and competitive activity, making appropriate strategic and tactical sales recommendations
  • Must be willing to travel as needed

What you will bring:

  • 8+ years of proven enterprise security or intelligence sales experience leading and scaling teams selling to public sector organizations (e.g. federal agencies, law enforcement, public safety, state and local governments)
  • Extensive experience successfully selling into complex public sector entities with strong track record of negotiation and closing
  • Established relationships at large Federal systems integrators and other key government-focused partners
  • Deep understanding of sales process and business drivers for public sector clients
  • Proven success as a sales leader in early stage or growth stage companies
  • Adept at delivering against revenue targets and business objectives while devising and operating within a strategic business plan
  • Data driven approach to sales forecasting and pipeline management
