Overview and Responsibilities

This role will own the project improvement effort around working capital management for Company. The responsibilities will include working with divisions on identified initiatives, detecting new improvement initiatives and developing internal reporting and critical metrics for the Company as a whole and for individual divisions. This position will lead all aspects of a group of 2-3 people in New York.

Job Description

  • Establish processes for executing on identified improvement initiatives
  • Work to uncover new initiatives for working capital improvement and develop strategies to realize the improvements
  • Ensure that our internal reporting systems are producing accurate and informational working capital reports and metrics that can be utilized by senior management at Corporate and the Divisions
  • Work with finance executives at all levels around the company on identifying, crafting and executing working capital improvement initiatives, establishing targets, tracking progress to targets and reporting status updates to senior management team

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills/Experience

  • Strong experience in financial operations including leading working capital for a large company, preferably at a media/entertainment company. Advertising operations experience is a plus
  • Background in accounting, process improvement and change management
  • Shown leadership skills - ability to lead and influence the outcomes of others both directly and indirectly
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to adapt to project developments, communicate clearly, demonstrate leadership, get results, lead multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - both oral and written. The role involves a high amount of interaction with senior management. Experience with communicating, facilitating, and gaining consensus is required
  • Proven history of successfully working in environments that require unyielding effort in order to achieve the desired results
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA preferred
